Owner / Color Master

Hi, Beautiful! I’m Corey. I am a Master Colorist with over twenty years of experience. For as long as I can remember, I have had an affinity for all things hair - especially color. It’s something that has always come easy to me, so I took my passion and ran straight into the world of beauty.

Throughout my career, I have worked in many upscale salons in Virginia and have had the privilege of studying under many world renowned stylists. Continued education is extremely important to me, thus traveling to New York to receive training at the Loreal Academy, and the Wella Studios in New York, Los Angeles and Barcelona.

I specialize in color but also share a love for the evolving world of extensions. I am certified in Invisible Bead, Natural Beaded rows and SKW. I have done every method of extension for the past 20 years but now I strictly only offer IBE, which is my preferred method.

My journey and expertise over the years have led me to take a leap of faith and open my own hair haven - Studio Indie. I love what beauty can offer and I’m extremely thankful I get to do what I love.

When I’m not behind the chair, I can be found chasing my four little ones around town or settling down at neighborhood happy hours with friends.
